Railway Higher Secondary School, N.F. Railway, Alipurduar Junction has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Part-Time Contractual Teachers for the academic session 2026-27. The recruitment will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview, and selected candidates will be engaged purely on a contractual basis for a maximum period of 200 working days or until regular teachers join, whichever is earlier.

Monthly Salary

No railway accommodation or additional facilities will be provided.

Age Limit

Candidates should be:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 65 Years (as per KVS norms)

Selected teachers will not be allowed to continue beyond 65 years of age.

Educational Qualification

PGT

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.

For Computer Science, candidates with BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. (CS), BCA with higher qualifications, DOEACC qualifications or equivalent are eligible as per the notification.

Knowledge of Hindi and English medium teaching is desirable.

TGT

Candidates must possess:

• Graduation in concerned subject with required marks.
• B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification.

Computer Science TGT candidates should possess relevant Computer Science qualifications mentioned in the notification.

PRT

Candidates should possess:

• Senior Secondary with Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

• Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

• Graduation with B.Ed.

along with TET qualification as prescribed.
